Joe and I met at work. When he introduced himself to me he was required to ask 3 questions to get to know me as well. The one that stood out and intrigued me was when he answered the question “what would you do if you won the lottery?” I didn’t really know what to say, but he replied with a whole story of funding NASA and going to space. I never heard an answer like that and it captured my attention. We then became friends for a while and he came with me to pick up (at the time) my puppy. (She is more so his now haha). We bought a house together a year later. He proposed to me on December 3, 2023 at a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains and we stayed the weekend there in Lake Placid. I’ve always been interested in the moon and stars and he is nerdy into space. Our love is written in the stars.
